I’m with you except for the first point. Here in Canadialand the provinces have a monopoly on basic health care insurance. Private or employer based policies are available for the things the provincial plans don’t cover, like drugs, ambulances, vision care, etc.

If trunk space equal to or more than your 2008 Fit is your minimum requirement, you are going to be disappointed in just about anything else, even a 2019 Honda Fit. Those early Fits were phenomenal in their use of space.
