“We’ll be right behind you. Hiding.”
Not to mention that they all look the same to me.
Mnuchin: “The voters knew Trump was a crook, and a minority of them voted for him anyway. Therefore he is above the law”
While features that come in “packages” are annoying, I understand the rationale in terms of manufacturing efficiency.
It’s a subtle difference, but I think that if instead of “Bradley Manning-now known as Chelsea Manning” they had gone with “Chelsea Manning- then known as Bradley Manning” it might have gone over better. The difference is in which name, by its position in the sentence, is implied to the her true name.
It’s pronounced “Bouquet”.
Well they can oxidize pretty spectacularly.
I agree with you about range extenders. For those of us who live in the far away, sparsely populated regions, it’s going to be a long time before charging infrastructure develops so our options are to charge at home or...nothing else. If I want to go mostly electric, I need a way to relocate myself without shipping…
Also, premium brands can differentiate themselves by having better battery chemistry, and thus longer ranges, faster charging times, better crash safety, lighter weight, more space, etc.
The idea is that the carbon put into the air by burning algae-based fuels was recently removed from the atmosphere by growing the algae, so it’s a short term closed cycle.

As a child of the Malaise era, small steering wheels still scare me a bit. Among the cars I grew up with, every one that had power steering had that power assist fail at some point. Probably those are Her Majesty’s Historical Anachronism Units, just installed on the wrong side of the car.
Fiat’s lineup in Europe is much more efficient than FiatChrysler’s in America, so it still surprises me that they need Tesla’s help.
Rear Wheel Drive, unfortunately. With 4WD and low range, these are unstoppable. We had one when we lived in Haiti, and there was nowhere it couldn’t go. But RWD? I mean, what’s the point?
To DEATH? Wow. That’s the worst kind of killed.
The much lighter BMW i3 uses a 650cc BMW scooter engine to power its range extender. It is adequate, but on long mountain climbs or for extended high speeds (say over 80 or so), the demand for power can exceed the generator’s output, even at full bore. When this happens the car gradually slows down until reaches…
