Was anyone else shocked that Desus and Mero actually have writers? What does a script look like? Desus: (Say something stupid). Mero: (Laugh hysterically). Desus: (Laugh also). Desus:  (Keep laughing).

If this was in my neighborhood I’d have bought it already.  It’s awesome!

Somehow Honda is able to sell Civics at a profit, Hyundai Elantras, etc.

Our current dailies are a 2013 Kia Sorrento Father in Law gave us when he became too ill to drive, and a 2006 Hyundai Tucson we bought from my parents 10 years ago. I don’t like either, particularly not the Kia which is slow and uncomfortable. But they’re reliable and it beats car payments.

I am similar. I make a comfortable salary, my house is paid off, my daughter is done with college, I am debt-free. And I have been a car guy my entire life. But I can’t justify dropping $60k on a Camaro SS or Hemi Challenger. It is just too damn much money.

The Market will resolve this. Eventually one car company will fill the space for smaller, inexpensive, cool cars, and sell a boatload of ‘em.

And yet, hilariously, companies continue to target youth (that has very little money) in order to establish future brand loyalty, while ignoring Boomers and older Gen Xers like myself who have plenty of disposable income and savings.

Confirmed by my ‘98 Windstar.

Leno wasn’t the greatest, but he is worlds beyond the current late-night network douchefest.

I don’t think TBS comes to mind as the place for cutting, incisive late-night comedy. To me, it’s the hub for Seth McFarlane and Big Bang Theory reruns. Conan’s a weird fit. He would have been great on Comedy Central, particularly for people like me who are turned off by the endless one-sided political hectoring

Too bad there hasn’t been a coin-op meter like that in NYC for years.

No one stays dead except Uncle Ben and Bucky.

This is why Karli’s “cause” is utter bullshit.  My life savings are in my house.  Thousands of comics.  Valuable antiques.  Hit the bricks, Karli.  I don’t care that you didn’t like your old home.  Not my problem.

It also had a magnificent, lengthy tribute to Stan Lee which gets me misty just thinking about it.

Is he dead? “Gone” back to another timeline? Retired and hidden somewhere?

Maybe because she has red hair, freckles, and is lighter-hued than my Italian ass.

If my son was killed by a terrorist and I was told Cap murdered him, I’d bake Cap a cake.  If it turned out to be the wrong guy I’d shrug and say “Go get the real one now”.

It was very disappointing he didn’t play much of a role in that series.  Was he busy or something?

Sam’s speech sums it up. In a nutshell: Harold is an insurance adjuster living in a nice house with his wife Barb. They get blipped. After a while the government invites a failure like Karli to live in Harold’s house since it’s empty. Five years later -PILB- Harold and Barb are back! They want their house. GTFO

I’ve been confused about Sam since the beginning of the series. The government is sending him all around the world to fight evil or whatever. Yet he doesn’t have money to fix a boat? Doesn’t he get some kind of stipend? Where’s his shop steward? “Oh, you got supersoldier terrorists over in Europe, huh? Love to
