I recently just saved an ‘82 sc targa from a garage that has sat for a few years. Its definitely a different car compared to my 944 turbo. My 951 is faster, but damn is the 911 a completely different driving experience. Its also the first 911 I’ve ever driven. Neither keys will be leaving my hands for a very long

Very true. I know a lot about these cars & that power is hard to believe without a dyno sheet. That head gasket also won’t last very long with 20lbs of boost.

This is spot on. The market for 100% original low mileage 944 turbos is there. But for a car with that dash, accident history, & paint work will still only bring $8k after he pours $6-7k into. He’ll be paying $450 for fog lights alone. The option sticker in that car better have some nice suspension & an LSD.

I’m a proud owner of a 45k mile 944 Turbo. You'll love the car. Be sure you do the timing belt & water pump before you drive it. It lives up to its easy to break reputation. Hope to see you on Rennlist soon! A lot of help can be found there for you.

I drive a 944 turbo. That answer in itself should tell you.

And one sound to fix them all
