It is on behalf of another person who is completely capable of speaking for themself. It wasn’t something Elizabeth experienced nor is the driver in question speaking negatively about the experience.

This is true only while the car is new. 5 year old paint requires blending to match and an off the shelf part will not work.

Pretty much anything on earth will have negative comments on the internet somewhere. I was talking about real life implications like losing sponsors or hurting future opportunities.

Considering her family, connections, and the #metoo movement I really doubt she would have any negative consequences from refusing the autograph.

Did the woman involved in this speak out about it? Or is it manufactured outrage by a 3rd party?

There are adults in that room already and after the Larry Nassar case... I don’t think anyone would question additional parental supervision.

Isn’t implying that she couldn’t speak for herself an issue in itself? She did not seem to have an issue with it based on the video and it’s pretty insulting for a writer to tell Hailie how she should have felt in that situation.

So the answer is once or twice a year? You can rent a car or use alternative methods for trips of that frequency.

There are a ton of ways to build credit that don’t involve paying interest. Credit cards paid in full each month, utilities (paid on time), etc. My first loan of any type from a bank was a mortgage and it wasn’t an issue I was approved without issue due to having mid-700s credit score (at that time).

They’re also building this on the wrong side of Detroit.  The majority of Engineers live on the north/northwest side of the city.

Was going to post the same thing.  I don’t disagree that many lightly used cars are overpriced but it wasn’t quite an apples to apples comparison.
