The stupid commercials will continue for sure.

I wonder how many people instantly went to Craigslist and tried to find a Baja Bug after watching that video. I know I did.

Who in the media has blasted him? Maybe I’m out of the loop but I see way more coverage (free advertisement) of his projects than I would like.

His approach matches the majority of the aftermarket unfortunately.

Yep, F1 drivers are scrawny and have no muscles.

IIRC the “outcry” was because the Indycar rules at the time specified a minimum car weight without driver. Every other racing series on the planet specifies their minimum race weights as car w/ driver.

Thing looks like a Lego version of the 720s

Jon Kasse always brings some interesting stuff to the Engine Masters challenge. This year he brought an engine with super thick spacer plates that were the “head gaskets” and the cylinder heads pictures below with “valve seats” that made the port geometry favorable. It already started above.

Same except I also wear grey. I assume the types that wear khakis don’t spend much time in the garages or plants.

I haven’t bought a polo in 15 years yet I have at least 10 in my closet.

On call F1 driver Paul Di Resta will also be driving at the Rolex 24.

I would put good money on the C8 getting a hybrid option if there is more than 1 powertrain available. This is especially true of a Cadillac option.

GM will never give similar cars different names. It will get some random alphabet soup package designations added to the Corvette base name.

I have a feeling that most bitching about NBC’s broadcast have access to a Sky stream and have been using it for years.

At least the Sky team is actually watching the race. I can’t count the number of times the NBC team has flat out missed something that happened in the race they are supposed to be commenting on.

To be fair, I had the same issue a couple years ago with #3. If you depend on your DVR to catch the 3am qualifying broadcast and NBC moved it to CNBC (which you don’t have a “record series” on) you have to wait until a rebroadcast to catch it.

You also had a case a few years ago where NBCSN decided to broadcast the

This isn’t Japan. Public transit runs on it’s own schedule.

Imagine Alonso if he has to watch Toro Rosso Hondas in Q3 from the garage.
