You put a deposit down on a new car but it’s a Model 3.

With Wall Street giving it a ridiculously high market cap?

My relationship with the local PepBoys is far from friendly.

Near me (midwest), any Autozone/Advanced/PepBoys/etc takes used oil. I believe it’s a requirement because they have never been surprised by me bringing it in.

This is a function of limited supply and the halo effect of only selling expensive vehicles. No one will care about their neighbor getting a Model 3 when the 250,000th one is delivered.

The bolt would be a kingmaker if it could fast charge. But it can’t. So eevn though americans don’t go on 1,000 mile road trips each weekend, they think they should be able to.

If everything goes to plan it could be better. “Everything going to plan” is basically a spit take worthy statement when talking about Tesla though.

I wonder how many of the 700 recently fired for poor performance were the canaries in the coal mine screaming about how things can’t be done this way.

“In a few years” is the big thing there. Musk could delay his production targets for the model 3 for an entire year and still be a year ahead of the competition.

One thing that is important to emphasize from the above article is that the majority of the performance aftermarket is smaller businesses. Know your audience and tailor your proposal to them. Your proposal for Pennzoil can’t be the same as your proposal for Setrab.

All I take away from this is that Tesla doesn’t understand the design & release process for hardware.

It’s a way to pass a few bucks. Can’t imagine why they’re losing money every quarter.

Nobody knew health care building cars could be so complicated

Funny, I know of many in the OEMs that have been contacted by recruiters from Tesla...

I don’t know why anyone watches NBC’s F1 broadcasts in 2017.

Shopping for a used 3-series (or really anything German) is immensely frustrating. Too many build configurations and finding what you want in good condition for a reasonable price is needle in a haystack.
