from some of the very cool modified things in Japan, it seems some of them buy the car and treat it like it really is their own and not like they are caretakers for a future owner.

As a fellow B8 S4 and Porsche owner, I second this. Mine has almost the exact same mods and I’ve had no problems in the ~40k miles I’ve put on it. On the other hand, my 911 needed a new camshaft sensor three days into owning it.
Really? Price is to high for sure and I never buy a modded car but as far as the platform, My daily driver is just about this exact car, bought new, it has shockingly been the most trouble-free and reliable German car I have ever owned. I have had (and have) a ton of Porsches, also Audi’s, BMW’s and VW..some other…
For the sake of my nearly identical 2014 S4's value I wish it weren’t, but this is definitely overpriced by $6-8k.
Thomas Midgley, Jr. (the guy responsible for leaded gasoline and CFC’s) also died in an interestingly strange way:
This may be one of the only articles concerning the abuse of the tribe’s land that we will ever read. The entire issue will eventually be buried and whoever uses an EV car or is related to the business of EV production can wash any guilty conscience away like the indigenous tribes who will be extinct.
Dirty their home’s land and water and then tell them to move to the cities where the land and water will be clean because everyone drives an EV and lives in a HOA.
Nope, EV’s and everything that goes into them is completely harm free, duh! The energy to power them and all the materials are ethically sourced without harming a single molecule on this earth.
you read it b4 voting? I just scrolled down and voted ND then read lol
Spot on. $36k should be a low to mid mileage example in near pristine condition.. and stock!
I agree, that car had the correct amount of HP for its chassis right from the factory. Adding more does nothing except add heat, complexity, and stress.
Counter-offer: You keep your $200 hockey jersey and I keep my $200.
Because that engine was amazing. Supercharging it is just a hat on a hat.
Those cars struggled with traction at lower speeds with stock HP.
I’d rather spend my money on a nice stock version. The supercharger has no value to me. And for $36k, hail damage really shouldn’t be in the mix.
You know what that car doesn’t need?
That still costs more than any single piece of clothing I own! Including shoes! Perhaps that says more about me than it does about merch prices, but F1 needs decent merch in the $20-$30 range. A basic t-shirt shouldn’t cost $80. At the Isle of Man I bought two t-shirts, a good jacket, two decks of cards, and a sticker…
So basically Nascar crashes into Formula 1.
I was in Montreal in 1993 for the F1 race right after the Canadians won the Stanley Cup for the 24th time and they rioted in the streets.
