Brilliant. Love that movie.

Nope, that's definitely a Toyota Echo engine.

everyone has got it wrong…. they were testing the new hybrid system and what you're actually hearing is engine noise being pumped through a speaker to keep the driver awake (and to fool all of us)…. DUH

If you're a Corvette traditionalist, you're going to be pissed off. I parked the C7 next to a C6, and the change is so drastic that it looks like this is actually a C12. Since the original Stingray, the Corvette has had round or oval rear taillights (bar a rounded rectangular interlude in the C4). And while tradition

I don't see lack of power steering causing the inability to steer.

Not to get too philosophical about it but...while he left us too early as a gear-head how would you want to leave this earth? Cancer, heart-disease, or behind the wheel one one of the coolest Porsches ever made?

I don't think the 996 is quite as bad looking as we've all trained ourselves to think. It's a very clean, fuss-free design. I think the issue is largely that the front clip was shared with the "ordinary" Boxster, a cost saving design necessity to put Porsche on firmer financial footing.
