HOW DARE YOU, SIR! An F40 without popup headlights is just an F50. And we don’t speak of the F50.

Ahh yes. Take that time you could be commuting and....do more work? Dafuq?
First they ruined Saab and most people said nothing. Now Holden? The crazy Aussie purveyor of ludicrous V8 burnout machines? Does GM have no conscience?
For the Q7, most likely yes. I have a dealer near me (Achtuning) and APR is one of the few with a tune for it at this stage.
We get 87, 89 and 92 here in Washington. Which isn’t quite 93 so its smarter (IMO) to just use a 91 tune instead of a 93 tune. not worth the marginal gains if it means dealing with timing pull (you lose that power you thought you were gaining) or knock (really bad, mmkay?).
Obligatory “that guy” comment:
These engines are so tunable! The CREC 3.0T in my Q7 will hit 447hp on a stage 1 tune on 91 Octane. Bit of a bummer we don’t get 93 up here in Washington...
Both my current car and my previous cars were both in accidents (twice under my ownership for my previous car, neither of which was remotely my fault, once on my current car that I’m 99% sure of based on a resprayed rear bumper and evidence of repaired damage, and once a few years back in my current car when I got…
Hah. I was mostly being a dick, but really though, honking your horn because you can is definitely a different thing than reclining your seat on an airplane.
This argument is bad. You should feel bad.
Presumably after the plane arrives at the destination safely, right?
I was going to be the “Well, actually...” guy and say the Q7 still uses the supercharged 3.0"T”, except I went to their website to double check and saw they switched it over to the newer turbocharged 3.0T for MY2020. My 2017 Q7 has the supercharged 3.0t, odd they’d slot it in for only a few years and switch engines…
I’m sorry, but that is the most aggravating video ever. The important part (the exhaust note) is only coming out of the right channel and ismuddied by some weird ass music layered on top. WHY? How hard is it to NOT include some random royalty free rap beat and to at least set the audio to mono so it comes out both…
They’re still making the supercharged 3.0"T”. My MY2017 Q7 has it. They’re solid engines, even if a bit of a departure for VW/Audi since the only previous supercharged engine they’ve build was the Corrado G60, and that didn’t work out so well.
Well its struggling because its stupid and its ugly.
Well, duh, you were supposed to get a Miata. Jeeze.
Well for one you can’t use cylinder count as a stand in term for displacement. Or power, really. My 2.0t makes more power than most 1970s V8s, and its not exactly a powerful engine.
I have to agree. They’ve sort of engineered the fun out of I4 turbos these days. Granted they’re eminently easier to drive with all the torque down low, but less fun when the torque tapers off by 4500rpms so revving out the engine becomes sorta pointless.
Don’t forget the VR engines!
but less powerful
