Well if you’ve been following his Instagram, you’d know he [redacted].
I came here to hate on this....but I just can’t. What a ridiculous(ly fun) e30.
People collect the orphan 9-5s? I seriously doubt that...
My 2012 2.0t Q5 got around 23-26mpg highway at best. It averaged around 17-19 in normal city commuting. Good, but not great in comparison to my 2008 A4 Avant 2.0t 6T which gets ~30 highway and 19-20 city.
There are many other pollutants than CO2 though.
Why not? Its probably cheaper to buy a “brand new” one still on a dealer lot than it would ever be to build a replica.
“The other part is now all the marketing material has to include details and ratings for a manual (extra cost), all the dealer ships have to have their techs trained (extra cost) they have to manufacturer and inventory spare parts (extra cost). The have to develop service procedures (extra cost) they have to setup the…
That is a hot take.
My wife went from an A4 6MT Avant (which I inherited as was my dastardly plan when we bought it) to a Q5 and absolutely LOVED the Q5. We recently upsized to a Q7 because our family grew again and we really needed a bit extra cargo capacity (for the dogs) and a 3rd row (just in case, but its already gotten more use…
MY WHOLE POINT IS THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS SHOULD BE CHANGED TO ALLOW MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS TO CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE.
Maybe “owes you” was the wrong choice in words, but I don’t see 66k as being the massive barrier to entry that you are I guess. Besides, 99% of these are going to be leases so the actual sale price is far less important than the monthly lease terms Audi Financial is willing to dish out.
No love for Rebel Assault I/II? Boo!
Why do you think Audi owes you a cheap wagon? If you want a “cheap” wagon, look at an Alltrack/Golf. Or an A4 Allroad. The previous A6 Allroad started at 42k in 2001. In 2019 dollars thats ~61k. Not that far off this new Allroad’s MSRP. So despite your outrage, I believe you’re wrong about the price. Just because YOU…
Did you read my comment though? I’m 100% agreeing with you but, you know, offering an actual solution, not “well they won’t offer it because not enough people will buy it to make it profitable (enough).”
You’re dumb and your argument is dumb. Its based on blatant falsehoods borne of fear mongering.
Represent!
You ever heard of a Hot Vee engine? maybe google it.
Low take rate is a garbage excuse, though. I’m sure there are option packages that barely anyone <5% of people check the box on. Does that mean nobody should have the option?
This is a truly strange hill to die on.
