What the actual fuck!?

Well they’re granite so....

This. My 2.0t A4 is a 200hp turbo. Its objectively slow, but corners really well with some basic suspension mods (swaybars and poly/spherical links, sticky tires) so who cares if I theoretically get beat off the line by 60-70% of the cars around me? Its fast enough to have decent fun in and handles great. With the

One can only hope...

Or alive in the 80s. Which is when the rubber bumpers started and ended...

This. If I can refinance my goddamn house (worth an order of magnitude more than my cars) over the internet and via email (I’m currently doing that right now and have yet to meet my loan officer in person OR walk into an office), I sure as shit don’t have to walk in to a damn dealer to “negotiate like a man”. What an

Yup. I bought my current car over the phone AND negotiated my old car’s trade in. Got a loan from a bank, got a check cut, drove from Seattle to Portland exchanged gave the car a cursory test drive, handed over the check, signed some papers, and drove off with my “new” car.

And your arrogant attitude is EXACTLY why people hate dealers.

Honda made a 300hp 3L NA V6 15 years ago? Wow thats impressive....

Interesting. So that report seems pretty cut and dry. If another poster is correct that BTV has the F-16C then there should really be no material difference in noise, in some cases louder, in other cases quieter.

I clearly don’t know how to internet properly.

Holy hell thats quite a lot louder. I made a comment way about that the Vermont ANG flies F-16s out of BTV already so what’s the big deal? Apparently 20+db is the big deal. Thats pretty significant!

Having been on the runway at BTV when the Green Mountain Boys taxied out and took off, I fail to understand how an F-35 is materially different in noise output compared to an F-16...

Hah, yea I won’t argue with you there. Designs on the whole have gotten too trendy, and fussy/busy/gimmicky. Hell, even Audi who has been pretty good about ignoring design “trends” has dived right in with everyone else.

The new one has a 3.5L V6 yea? So not exactly the same, however its damn close and frankly more than I’d expect from a company like Toyota in a volume engine. So maybe I was a being too dismissive here. My bad.

Well its not a V6 but that’s still more or less valid. Its in the 100hp/l range from a 6-cylinder. Maybe I was a bit hasty in thinking 300hp is hard on a 3L v6...

Please show the class a 3L Naturally aspirated V6 that makes 300hp in production form....

The B8 S4 referenced in the article did not have a 4.2 though...

Are they? I think their styling is overwrought and too aggressive. And their newest designs are oddly bulbous and “fat” looking.

TVP?
