I was all for it until I saw the absurd tire stretch. Crackpipe.

Rude! I miss my silver B6 Ultrasport so so much! Silver was by far the easier to keep clean than Black!

Yes.

That dash doesn’t look particularly “production” to me...

Agreed!

It does a lot more than Sat Radio. The one in my Audi B7 Avant does TV (in Europe), Sat, Diversity AM/FM Radio, Telematics (aka built-in phone which was available in Europe I think), and I believe it also works as the remote fob receiver.

In my dream, it had a 6-speed manual. I want to go back to sleep...

No. What they probably should have done is not approach him with guns drawn...

Apparenlty not the spelling of his name though... ;-)

As a designer (not an illustrator or artist, but I digress) I found this video completely fascinating. Not just how they tackle the issues they face but the reasoning behind it. Its a cool inside look!

One star for the depressingly spot on assessment of present times...

Personally, I think this a rare moment of honesty from a (super)car manufacturer. People who like engaging cars don’t really care about the absolute lap time, they likely care much more about feeling one with the car and the Smiles-per-mile factor. Numbers on a page don’t really offer the same feeling as nailing the

It’s because for decades people here wanted to bury their heads in the sand and not address looming transit/traffic problems before they became fiascos. Now that deferral is biting us in the ass (and the wallets). Its not the city, its the morons back in the 80s and 90s who didn’t want to pay more taxes for a more

But why would you elect to take up a TON of waterfront real estate (view aside) when, I don’t know, you could NOT take up a ton of VERY valuable waterfront real estate with a goddamn elevated highway? The answer is you don’t unless you’re a moron.

It isn’t. People here just want to have their cake and eat it too. They want less spending on infrastructure and less traffic too. And less spending on public transit because it sucks and somehow less traffic and better transit.

As a person who used to commute to work on 99 and who now commutes via I5 and I90. No. The traffic would most certainly NOT sorted itself out.

Oh shit, you just schooled me good. I’ll admit most of my knowledge is b5+ Audis (b6/b7/b8 owner here) so I didn’t realize the older ones weren’t torsen. Learn something new everyday!

Every longitudinal Quattro Audi until the b9 A4 has been torsen based. So pretty much you’re talking about every Quattro Audi aside from the A3 that’s been built between the early 80s and 2017.

Plenty on eBay. I would slap in a late-B6 02X 6-Speed, assuming its compatible with your rear diff. The early 3.0s had a 01E (the same as a b5s4) but they’re not as smooth shifting as an 02x.

Thats a b6. Its an Ultrasport (s-Line in Europe). I know, I used to own basically that same car as pictured, a silver 6MT ultrasport sedan. B7 started midway through 2005 and ended in 2008. B6 was from 2002->early-2005. All the USP added (On top of the sport package) were the unique front and rear lips, rear trunklid
