I’m going to go out on a limb and say there aren’t air hoses. I bet the head has air ports, much like coolant ports, for the air to flow, then a compressor bolted directly to the main air manifold. I doubt air hose failure is even a concern. The guys at koeniggsesseesgggeeggg are way too smart to fall into that pit of

Also having a PLACE to charge. People never consider this, but for people who have no garage or off-street parking (myself), an EV is a hard sell. I’d have to run an extension cord out to the curb or something, which is surely not particularly safe nor would I enjoy a lawsuit when someone inevitably trips on it. A

380 AWHP sounds like a blast. I’d be happy with my Audi if it had ~300hp at the wheels, ideally closer to 350. But I have no interest in building the block given how fragile these first gen FSI motors are. My priorities no longer are wrenching on my cars, despite enjoying it. I’ll probably do a mild turbo upgrade (K04

But my hatred of Scoobies runs deep! I’m not sure I’ve got it in me....

“Why don’t these miserable fuckers just move somewhere where they’d be happier, like maybe deep inside the rectum of the giant, seething beast that is their own feckless rage and intolerance?”

Duh. #becauseengineers

Those pictures are all just mirrored from side to side. WTF? Except the city scape where the background is just pasted again. Nice work.

Um, I’m assuming you’ve never used that Nav in a porsche (or really nay german car). Trust me, it should not be considered a “feature” by any stretch.

Ummm its a VR6 not a V6. #pedant

Isn’t this the truth. 18 months in with my first and I’ve barely even had time to touch my car. But as you said, priorities shift. I’d rather spend time with my kiddo anyway...

Oh yea. I bet the wheel bearings would be shot in no time. The hub could even warp from the heat, I mean look how out of round those rotors got?

Haha, sorry. I just have the privilege of dealing with a VERY tedious software engineer at work and I tend to bag on engineers in general due to him.

This. Good lord. I live just north of Seattle and housing costs are ridiculous. My wife and I bought in 2012 right as the market was in its upswing, but we’re beginning to outgrow our home and are contemplating looking for something larger. The kicker is we couldn’t even afford to buy our current home right now. So to

Parent of the year for sure.

Uhhh I come to Jalopnik for CAR NEWS, not snowplow news. This is garbage! I’m not renewing my subscription and will never visit Jalopnik ever again!

haha. That was just the first credible sounding link I could find online comparing siped to non-siped tires. Theres surprisingly very little formal evidence out there, either for or against siping. Which seems strange considering how commonly I notice siping marks on tires on random cars.

Eww, siping is gross!

Yup. Amuzingly I actually do run summers all year around here in Seattle but its mostly because I’m too lazy/broke to buy proper winters. Some day...
