@coketown: yeah, sure, expect it to get better with more multitasking enabled, utilizing more memory and more processing.

The sad thing, even though it looks like both AT&T and Apple continually give worse and worse service, sales keep growing, so there is 0 chance either will give a crap about this in any meaningful way. At this point all I can ay is: ha ha SUCKERS!

Amiga apps are 50% off. And Atari. OS2 anybody? WFW 3.11? Get em while they're hot!

@Marcus Cadwell: It's the same technology as on the Evo (with less mp, though I agree with Steve, 5 is plenty. I actually have my Evo down set to 5.) The Evo uses way too much compression in it's video, though. I bet the iPhone video comes out better. Heck, I think the iPhone 3GS video is better even though it's not

3D as it is now is huge gimmick. It's not real 3d. It's like kind of sort of 3 d if you hold your eyes just right and don't mind a bit if a headache. Motion base gaming works. It keeps getting better, as opposed to 3d being pretty much the same for the last 40 years.

@tedknaz: my thinking, too. Although I was going to say "statue."

@theCollector: the people near him in line are gonna have to smell his week old funk.

I think that after having the original iPad on day one, and shortly after switching to the 3G version, I've come to the same conclusion I had, and the same conclusion the Steve claimed back when he was giving his excuse why Apple wasn't in the tablet business. And that is, that between having a full featured laptop

@Chris Pratt: It's the aliens fault, they wouldn't do nudity or sex scenes without a significant compensation increase. Bunch of prudes if you ask me.

@nitrus: This is getting tiring. It happens over and over again.

@RandomNickname: It's the idea that if I buy and HTC phone, I'll actually get to own it. Meaning, if I want to muck around with the software on it which doesn't affect anyone else, I can. Rather than, you pay for an HTC phone, but HTC/carrier really still own it, you can't do anything with your purchase that they

It's probably more like wouldn't sell 5% of their phones, as in they would lose 5% of their phone sales, or maybe much less. I'm not sure, but I think I may have foregone my Evo purchase if they weren't rootable and I didn't think there was a likelyhood I'd be able to install Froyo in a reasonable amount of time. Then

You know, I just got very intimate with the inside of my Evo having dropped it in the toilet. That red portion is just a huge block of plastic, giving the phone some sturdiness, I guess, but wasting quite a bit of space. I don't know why HTC didn't use perhaps a sturdier material there and either, preferably, using

Executing kill bill switch. Next.

What's an "Internet"? Can it kill us? If so, I'm in favor of turning it off or whatever. But just in case, I think the the existing laws requiring judicial confirmation of potentially right violating acts of government official are doing a good enough job as they are. You could stab yourself in the eye with a pencil,

You should really get a outside, sober opinion on the "brilliant" ideas you think of while getting high before you go to all the trouble of manufacturing and promoting said idea.

You know what else would be cool? With this tech you could basically record complete game scenarios, then simulate particular situations analyse alternate player responses for training and planning plays. Could also be used to program more realistic AI into games. But I'm not too much in favor for making virtual life

It's meece.
