It was her OWN computer.

It was her computer!

Cline does not “admit to having been an abusive partner.” She admits to behavior you view as abuse and she does not. Defining “abuse” as a twenty-year-old putting keystroke-recording software on her own computer, which her thirty-three-year-old partner sometimes used, so that she could establish that he was cheating

If you meet a vegan poly that does Crossfit, what do they tell you about first?

I find OKQ similarly dispiriting. Under Favorite Books, Music and Movies one frequently cannot find someone who’s listed a single fucking book. Could it be one of the reasons we’re in the political shithole we find ourselves in today? You be the judge!

OkCupid also taught me how many men really need to clean their bathroom mirrors.

Or they THINK they are Poly, because thy think they’ll have unlimited options all the time.

Okcupid taught me that too many men haven’t bothered to read a book since high school. They all seem to pick the Great Gatsby as their favorite book.

yep. this is pretty much my experience teaching, too.

It really seems like one man getting falsely accused is much worse than dozens of women (and men) being assaulted and having nowhere to turn. It’s hideous.

Jesus. I could have written a similar post. I’ve been teaching at colleges and universities for over ten years and it plays out EXACTLY as you’ve written it. I’ve had so many students confide in me and I just feel so fucking helpless, heartbroken, and furious.

That bitch can sit in on any freshman seminar with me in late September, and watch students who’ve been assaulted practically whither away in front of everyone.

Everyone who didn’t try to intervene should be fired too. Why did they let this happen? Like that security guy talking on his phone - what about doing your job? You’re witnessing a nurse on the hospital you work for getting assaulted!

Because cops here believe they exist to protect each other instead of serving the public. It’s them against us so regardless of our innocence, we’re all suspects until we prove otherwise.

As-fucking-if.

They should get fired, but they won’t.

Why are US police so violent towards everybody? Are they afraid? Insecure? Misogynists? Wannabe-army? What’s wrong with them? The police in the UK would never handle a sober, non-aggressive, non-violent suspect in this manner, let alone another member of an emergency service. In the UK this would be big news, and

Once Payne and his superior who pushed him are fired and unable to find another job, then I’ll believe in that “goodness of society”.

Some days I’m just not sure how to continue living life while all this is going on. It feels irresponsible to go to work, have dinner with friends, sleep in on Saturdays. Is this what it was like to live in Germany in the 30s? I give money and I give time, but I feel like an asshole for keeping up any semblance of

The whole “greek system” is an international problem. Student organisations in higher education around the world have the same shit going on. Not just the USA. Affluenza inc.
