I was thinking the same thing. That cover still works for modern day Spider-Man. But, I will say, that I still love how dynamic and exciting the cover art still looks for Action Comics #1.

Patty Jenkins should be glad she has HBO Max and Covid to scapegoat for the poor box office performance of WW84. That movie was a scattershot mess with a nonsensical plot, it was a definite drop off in quality from her first WW movie.

For me, both Melanie Lynskey and Judy Greer are criminally underrated, always interesting character actresses. Even though this looks... not great, I’ll still give it a shot because I’d watch anything with those two separately, so I’ll definitely check them out together.
