A projection is explicitly a prediction based on statistics, behaviors and means...

Don’t mean to hijack these comments and I’ll be brief.

I’m a big fan of Scott’s stuff. The watercolor/children’s storybook style is fun, especially when it comes to more adult subject matter:

2016's Silence. Martin Scorsese directs a period piece set in feudal Japan, Qui-Gon Jinn get kidnapped by samurai, and it’s up to Kylo Ren and and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to find him and bring him home.

I really liked the meeting between Nolan’s Batman, Alfred, Wolverine, Black Widow and Iron Man 3's Maya Hansen in the team-up film, The Prestige, where they also met Jareth, The Goblin King from Labyrinth.

I’ll raise you a Charles Rocket.

Or, I can watch it on my tablet with a cat on my lap and pizza fries in the oven.

I’m on board. I don’t think Halloween (2018) was a triumph of the genre but it managed to feel fresh and JLC was more engaged than she was in a lot of those sequels.

So bizarre to see people talking about this like it’s an unknown quantity... it’s easily the best thing to come out of WWDITS, and people would probably be more inclined to watch it if you linked to the many many positive reviews and fan pages that have been floating around for a full 3 years now.

I couldn’t imagine going from the very commonplace existence I currently have to being a named Star Wars character with lines.

Because she’s not talentless, is already attached to a dystopian YA property, and was smart enough to build skills and a business on the back end before she gets aged out.

“Fast X Furious.” Because it’s either that or “Fast 10: Your Seatbelts,” and I think Fast X Furious is a bit less cheesy-sounding.

I’m hoping “FFX: Cash Grab” goes back to its root. No, not about family! Don’t be ridiculous. I hope they go back to stealing VCR/DVD combo players.

Evangelicals have always been offended by things. They were offended when Dogma came out in 1999. They were offended when The Last Temptation of Christ came out in 1988. At this point in time, I sincerely don’t give a shit about them being offended when “being offended” is their continual state of being.

I guess when Chris D’Elia (the original actor playing the helicopter pilot) was fired for soliciting photos of underage girls, Tig Notaro (actually my favorite character in the movie, even if she’s more or less just playing herself) had to record all her scenes with green screen. Almost all of her shots are static and

At least this person chose not to involve innocent people in their quest to get away from it all.

This is a pretty clearly a vehicular suicide.

Exactly. I have yet to see a live-action foreign film where dubbing improved the experience over subtitles. Even good dubs always seem to be a step down from the original actor’s performance.

So, Couple Retreats.
