One of my friends has started making the real flower ones and even though it's months away I've already decided I to buy one for my birthday celebrations. I have several artificial, which are wonderful, but there's something about the real flowers which blows me away.

I will shoe-horn "Flower Crown Friday" into every possible appropriate occasion. My students LOVE it. We also have Pajama Mondays and I think this summer I'm adding Tiara Tuesdays.

Free Willy taught me that.

I mean, tastes vary. But I don't wear shoes in my house unless it's subzero temperatures. I meant I consider them very casual wear, mostly because the way you have to walk in them is kind of clumpy and unattractive. I wear them in the situations I listed (all of which I've occasionally done *drum roll* in my pajamas).

This is like a poem.

I wear my flower crown to Disneyland and themed days at my classroom, but so far haven't been daring enough to wear it anywhere else. Which is sad, it's really pretty.

I wear my Ugg boots in the following situations:

I will never like the look of sheer things with contrast underwear. I'm totally down with sheer white dress and a coloured slip underneath, I can rock that around the block. But maybe it's just my personal preference as An Old (of mid twenties) but I can't stand it.

Yeah! it was called the Unusuals.

I caught my dad running the sprinklers in the dead of night last night. Our city hasn't put any fines on water usage yet but it's only a matter of time, I've never been so pissed off. There are plenty of plants that grow with a small amount of water, plant them!

Fifth: WEIRD ASS TANLINES.

I’m glad! Everything she’s done, according to the other commenters, was one of the things I’m not really interested in (House, 127 Hours) so she seemed to have just disappeared while the other three had pretty successful careers, at least for a few years.

According to the other commenters, it sounds like some kind of book of poetry. I’m glad she’s done things, they all seem to be things I don’t really watch (127 hours, 2&1/2 Men, House) so she just kind of disappeared off the face of the earth while the other three have had relatively successful careers!

Oooh, okay. I never watched that show except while waiting for something else to come on, so I’ve maybe seen two full episodes. Thanks!

Does Amber Tamblyn still do things? I just remember she had a failed cop show where she didn’t trust people and then it got cancelled before she learned to love again, or something.

I’ve thought about going to a hairdressing school but I did that in college and it took YEARS for my hair to grow back out. My current hairdresser is a personal friend, which has an added level of awkward, but she is low-income herself so she understands when I can’t get a haircut for almost 6 months now (I have 2

That’s interesting that you think it’s easy to cut! My friend with long curly hair probably pays less just because she gets it cut like once a year, but she has definitely bemoaned how few people she found able to cut curly hair well. Maybe it’s just an area-specific thing.

Haha does your username have anything to do with being in Monterey? I currently lay my head down in Salinas but I'm all over the place, I've worked in the bay area, Hollister, and currently Carmel and Monterey. California is just a beautiful place.

Not mentioned, but I like Makeup Forever Mascara. I got it in my birthday gift from Sephora and I wound up buying the full size after using throughout my shows all summer. I have only tried a few from the list, but Maybelline always runs on me, Benefit was too clumpy, and Dior was good but wayyy out of my price range

Yeah, paying extra for a haircut doesn’t bother me, I would expect the long layered White Jesus haircuts to cost more as well. My sister gets pixie cuts and she pays a lot less than I do. (I pay $100 but it’s a cut and colour bundled because my hairdresser loves me)
