It actually would not work since the flight time is actually about 5 hours (7:15 EST to 12:30 EST) and then there is the 3 hours of driving. Though if you think about it, where I live you have to fly to Newark or Detroit then fly to London or Denver.

I left the Southern Tier of New York at 7:15 AM and got to Denver at 10:30ish which is 3.15 hours. Carhenge is 240 miles from Denver International aka about 3 hours and change at 70 MPH.
