A DMV Clear plate means that there are no outstanding fees required by the DMV and you can reuse the pair of plates on another vehicle.

No red light cameras here in the Finger Lakes Region just bunches of road salt. You can drive 50 or so miles to Sayre or points south and the vehicles are not quite as rusty.

Nope, I collect license plates and was not bored. Here in New York I can get a pre-1987 plate pair for a pre-1987 vehicle.
