First off, the FIA’s own explanation into the penalty makes no sense. Charlie Whiting first says that it wouldn’t matter if Max was the leader or not then he says it is unacceptable to have a back marker battle the leader, which means it actually did matter. Which is it Charlie?

For most of us, this would be an extravagance, but it is for sale in Florida, so that armoring would probably come in handy.

Max is barely ahead. He had no “right” to the corner other than being the leader. Check out the lead image: Max is going for the apex, but Ocon is fully on the kerbs. Where does Ocon go? We can debate all day long whether it was appropriate for Ocon and Verstappen to battle for unlapping all day long, but at the end

If I crashed a car like this I wouldn’t want to walk away from it.  LAWD TAKE ME NOW!

Interesting how you think you know my job better than I do. Both of those are incorrect statements. Potting is incredibly expensive, it’s much cheaper to seal the case than it is to pot the PCB. Potting also traps heat which is detrimental to the ECU’s performance and longevity. As for submersion...my current engine

Red and green?  That’s insensitive to color blind people!

Before I make my counter point, let me start with this: my actual job is to design automotive electronics packages. I.E. the box that keeps the engine PCB alive in an engine bay. So everything I am saying here comes from my industry experience (especially the parts about how cost cutting has removed physical features

Problem: Batteries degrade and lose capacity over time.

The original RDX was based off the Civic/CRV. The current generation is not.

First’gen CR-V and I can personally attest that with some good tires they’re actually really good mud cars.

Acura missed a HUGE opportunity 10 years ago. The 1st gen RDX’s drivetrain was really advanced for its day: twin-scroll turbocharged 2.3L engine, and SH-AWD, which (on paper anyway) had the same capabilities as Mitsubishi’s S-AWC and Nissan’s ATTESSA-ETS. 2007 was the same year the RSX got put to bed because it was

I think the key difference between your Impala and the people buying these tires is you can actually get a radial tire in your Impala’s size. Try finding a radial tire in 600x16 (the size Pirelli is making these tires in and was one of the most common sizes back in the day).

Look just because you’re jealous that I have a VehiCross and you only had a Wagovan, doesn’t mean you need to take it out on me. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Civic Wagon also isn’t iconic nor is it really desirable. The VehiCross is. It’s not just the rarity, it’s the fact that people actually like them and want them.

It’s cost man.  Keeping three cars running, insured, and registered is a lot of money.  Sitting has not done this poor beast any good.  It sprouted two oil leaks and a coolant leak I had to take care of before putting it for sale.

They’ll hit the bottom of their depreciation curve in the next few years.  And people love these.  I get asked about it at least once a month.  They will definitely go up in value.

It’s great to drive but horrifically impractical. The trunk is useless and the sightlines are horrible. The Challenger and Mustang are easier to live with day to day.  Couple that with the styling that’s only been tweaked a bit since it debuted and it’s small wonder the sales are slipping.

Selling my Isuzu VehiCross. It’s currently for sale right now because I don’t have the time, money, or bandwidth to keep three cars all on my own (two of which are always in some need of repair). I already know finding another good VehiCross will take ages and they’re going to start going up in value in the next few

Y’all ran this exact same story a week ago:
