I too will ask for why you think Troopers are garbage. I’ve had a VehiCross for the last 3 years and it’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned period (and that includes five Hondas). There are definitely a few quality issues in the interior, but mechanically it has never let me down. Worst thing I had

Anytime a design team hurts the function of a car with styling. Some examples:

Data recorders were present in the Toyota acceleration cars. People didn’t believe them though, and it was easier for Toyota to issue a recall and change how they install floor mats than to continue to fight the headlines.

All of the IndyCar street races have some type of other racing before them. Hell, the best racing in Detroit this year was Stadium Trucks. Cross-promotion and driver/team crossovers would definitely give fans more exposure to different types of racing and new drivers. It’s not going to be an overnight shift though

I agree motorsports could use an injection of fun every once in a while. But my point was that Blocks’ WRC career did not bring a legion of new fans into WRC, which is what you suggest. Ken has tried to turn his viral fame into entertaining racing: his Gymkhana series lasted exactly one event and it was a riot to

He did have a short and unsuccessful WRC career. While his fans tuned in, it didn’t exactly light the rally world on fire (probably because he crashed a lot). Travis Pastrana also had a short NASCAR career and it didn’t make a big difference in NASCAR interest.

Richard Petty was born in 1937 in the segregated South. He is many things, but progressive he is not.

I don’t get why Toyota created another subdivision of racing and speed parts (erm...“speed parts”). Toyota already has TRD, with a much longer history and much better brand identity. Hell, it’s plastered in giant letters on the side of my Tacoma. So...why not use it? I guess TRD is just another trim level instead

I didn’t say that. What I am saying is Red Bull gets caught and slapped down more often than other teams.

You mean Red Bull is going to continue to push the limits of the rules as much as humanly possible until the FIA slaps them back?

Came here to say this. It is inexcusable that NASCAR still does not have a single, travelling safety team. IndyCar has had a safety team since the 80s and it has saved dozens of driver’s lives and limbs. More importantly, IndyCar uses the information they gain from saving racing drivers to help first responders

That’s the definition of NASCAR right there.

U of Delaware. If you want to get your hands dirty in all aspects of the car, find a school with a smaller team. You’ll learn a lot more about the whole car, but not as much detailed stuff (mostly because nobody has been able to dive deep enough into the nitty gritty because deadlines are hard to meet when you only

No, I understand personal responsibility and adaptability. The roads aren’t getting fixed anytime soon, so when I had a Mazdaspeed3 (with 40 A/R tires), I avoided the potholes, broken seams, and other road irregularities. No blown tires, no bent wheels, no problems.

I guess this is what happens when John Delorean and Walter White start a business venture together.

I was in California for the very last Formula SAE West competition as a student. We got a Chevy Aveo as a rental car. We e-brake turned into every parking spot. We found out if it could do triple digits with four people in it (barely, but yes). We then took out the back seat and spare and took it to the mountain

I grew up on the East Coast and spent some time in NYC. I know those roads. I even drove them pre-GPS. I’ve also spent a lot of time in Michigan which has abysmal roads. And I’m a design engineer thank you very much. I worked my way through college replacing wheels and tires of fools who drove straight into pot

If only there was some way we could avoid potholes. Like maybe if there was some kind of...I dunno, a stick, or a button, or maybe..a wheel! Yes, a wheel, that we could use to tell the car which way to go. It could be connected to the wheels on the ground maybe. Yeah, that’s a good plan, connect it to the wheels

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I was born and raised in the USA dumbass. The Mazdaspeed3 was only sold in the US, wasn’t that a dead giveaway? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You’re even dumber if you think that being American makes you a Jalop. And you have no friggin clue what I’ve driven. Seriously, for someone
