He’s restoring it for his family and will have his grandson drive him around in it when it is finished (he says so in the IndyStar article). It’s been in the family for 50 years and will be passed down because it is important to them.

This is all well and good NOW, but with the direction networks are moving, you’ll start seeing more and more content being limited to that network’s streaming service. Networks are giving up a ton of money to Netflix and Hulu by licensing so once they set up the hardware to host themselves, there’s no reason for them

I needed a solid daily driver that was reasonably cheap, could tow my 240SX, and could do a 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week. Instead, I bought a VehiCross. I’d always wanted one and this one turned out to be the rare VX that was cheap but not dead. I really should have walked away, it needed a ton of TLC and

Neutral: On the one hand, China’s manufacturing has serious quality problems. By allowing only the best manufacturers to participate, it will streamline the design and validation processes.

The only oil I’m burning is through the turbocharger. I’ve heard they have high crankcase pressure and push oil through the intake where it gets burned, but since my turbo has leaking seals, I don’t know if mine has that problem.

Oh the worst part of the MZR motor? The VVT. The early versions had actuator pins that were too weak and would wear prematurely. If the pin fails, the valve timing goes out of whack and starts bending valves. It’s a $10 part, but requires half the engine to be disassembled to get to it, so if you didn’t get it done

I can attest to the 2.3 woes. I have an ‘08 MS3 and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I bought it in April, but it’s been more or less parked since the end of June because one thing after another keeps breaking. Once I cure the misfire that’s suddenly appeared, it’s going right back for sale. Everyone loves Mazdas

I could see Amazon becoming similar to Autotrader where it acts as a mediator. List your car through Amazon and find a seller nationwide. They already do the same for used books, so it wouldn’t be a huge leap to do the same for a car.

Weird how both of those cars are newer than the MG. Is there some kind of Benjamin Button thing going on? Or maybe a Delorean was involved?

Is it a piece of crap built on an outdated Mustang platform that once gave Jermey Clarkson a concussion? Yes.

In the case of Honda, tooling up a brand new frame would have blown the cost of the Ridgeline out of the water. It was far easier and cheaper to simply redesign the Pilot’s chassis to handle truck duties. And when small SUVs and trucks were both all BOF based, it was easier to spread the cost around. Having a

Here’s the problem with that: if you have an internet subscription with TWC, Comcast, Verizon, etc. that isn’t good enough for the sports channel streams. Which means you have to have cable to stream online...which is a dumb Catch-22 if you’re trying to cut the cable.

My point was we should rely on rail to move goods cross country instead of trucks. Still need trucks after the rail yards, but cross country it would make more sense to send more heavy freight over rail.

Or just use more of these.

Insurance is pretty reasonable. I don’t really have much to compare to since it was the first car I insured on my own. I also have a Mazdaspeed3 and the rate is within a few dollars a month.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been driving it for 18 months now, but the styling has grown on me. The roof rack, and taller tires have also given the perfect proportions. I get someone asking me about it monthly. I’m amazed how many people remember what these were and love them.

The VehiCross. It was simply ahead of its time. What were weird styling details in the 90s and early 00s are now bland in 2016. It’s not so much that the VX has gotten better looking with time...everything around it has gotten so ugly and weird that the VX has become an adonis.

It’s more like what Pagani did with the Zonda. Same chassis for a decade, but every variant got wilder and wilder until even racetracks were like “No, GTFO.” But yes, this naming convention is confusing as shit, it needs to stop. Worse than BMW, who at least makes some sort of sense.

Anyone else see the irony that Dodge is offering Trans Am packs after abandoning factory support of their actual T/A cars? They still race, but like the zombie Xfinity cars or the Vipers in IMSA, there’s no support from Dodge itself.

Your thought process is correct, but your conclusion is not. My whole point was there’s little chance the solar panel could even produce enough current to make a measurable difference in the battery’s charge. Also consider that the electrical accessories are running off this solar panel and using current. While it is
