Ford F-150s with 20s have really low profile tires also. These are options on 4WD pickups, which makes zero sense. On a 2WD that’ll never leave pavement, sure, no issue there I guess.

It’s all relative. For a pickup that could be taken off-road, that is extremely low profile, you do not want that when off-roading. Hence why FCA kept with smaller wheels and taller profile tires for the rubicons. Same with Ford raptors. They’re smart enough to know its about more than just curb issues.
Ford did it a few years back and IMO it looks hideous and is not a smart idea for any pickup that’s not a pavement queen.
