My wife’s ecoboost went through 2 turbos (warranty covered it). My buddy’s ecoboost had some sorta weird blow-by issue causing oil to build up in the intercooler, that had to be solved with an aftermarket catch can and some other things, $3,800 in parts and labor, he is not thrilled.
