LOL I’m not arguing for dirty air or banning the EPA, your assumptions are strange to say the least. Meanwhile, you’re like an alt-left version of a prepper, so focused on armegeddon I think you almost wish for it.

LOL you’re type of idiot that says this:

LOL good lord how tasteless, i feel terrible for laughing

LOL so everyone that realizes the truth, that automakers have a lot of innovations that are NOT forced by regulation, waves a maga hat?  Are your knuckles white from clutching your pearls??

I have a postcard of Chevrolet’s ad campaign bragging about their great mileage, better than their competitors. It was from 1933. To say automakers don’t innovate unless they’re forced to is either intellectually lazy, or lying.

It’s so common now that it’s almost proper.  Like the word ain’t.  I guess we deal with it.

ha....we were literally on welfare for a while when I was a teenager (gov’t cheese is excellent BTW), and I had 2 different friends (also poor) that resorted to stealing. I despised theft then as much as today. Rural farmers derailing trains and potentially killing railroad employees in the process is inexcusable.

After reading her article saying Vipers were “bro-cars” I’m impressed she got through this one without berating chevy truck owners.

Agreed I never had to deal with the BS like you guys did(still do) but good god man I’m not saying the US is perfect or that it deserves something from you.....what I’m saying is that if the left benefited from the electoral college like the right (currently) does, the left would call it brilliant and the right would

And if rural USA were blue instead of red you’d be calling the electoral college a brilliant design by our founders.  Blinded by bias, carry on.

LOL If you don’t understand what the DNC email leak showed, you’re out of touch with all the pissed off Bernie supporters. You know...those pesky facts...

HAHA this is peak kinja.  I literally may quote you on my fb feed for my non-kinja gearhead buddies to see

Well fuck you make a good point. LOL

Yep, kuddos to them for cleaning up those valleys, it’s nice being able to see the mountains from orange county

Name checks out...lol

Nice strawman argument. Completely different scenarios (and legal implications). You don’t get thrown in jail and charged with a felony if you drive your non-CARB compliant vehicle into the the state of CA (yet...LOL).

Not always that simple.  For instance, make a rule that all new vehicles are able to use E85, makes sense correct?  Well, there are huge swaths of areas of the US that are too far away from the corn source to even have E85 options at the pump.  (many western states).  So that functionality is a waste of parts/cost on

Yeah that’s even worse.....

Not saying it’s CA’s job to worry, just saying there are unintended consequences.

The problem is the unintended consequences....sometimes CARB’s rules affect mfgr and sales of cars in every state because it’s very costly to make 2 version of cars, 1 for CA and 1 version for every state not named CA. So their rules do have a way of controlling the rest of the states indirectly.
