And they all got beat in the ratings by a Tampa Bay/Jacksonville preseason NFL game. Jesus.

The show made me like Jay Cutler more, because he seems to have the same level of contempt for Kristin Cavilleri that I do.
Knowing how reasonable umpires are when criticized, and their famous sense of humor and thick skin, I expect West reacted by burning the restaurant to the ground.
So round your “automatic” 18 percent up to 20 percent on your whole bill every time, unless you actually see the server spit in your food.
I’m not a stickler for it, but I’ll take it into account especially if the meal is more expensive. I would argue that logic dictates that you should only have to tip on the pretax amount.
For that matter, the $3 or $4 glass of soda cost the restaurant literally pennies. That’s got to be the biggest markup around.
Off topic, but...I believe I understand, as best as a white person can, why the n-word is a uniquely offensive and painful word that warrants being removed from our vocabulary to the point of printing “the n-word” in its place even when simply reporting that person X said the word.
But nowadays, a “minor accident” is likely to be several thousand dollars in damages. You’d be an idiot to pay for insurance and then voluntarily decide to pay a significant amount out of pocket rather than make a claim, just because you can technically afford to pay a couple thousand.
In keeping with the theme of this comments section, I’ll speak less about the Packers themselves and more about the state of Wisconsin as a whole. I live and work in Madison among a diverse group of people from all over the country and world. Some of my coworkers were born and raised and still live in small towns 30…
We miss the Wisconsin we grew up with...but we’re not moving back.
Yeah, I’ve always been under the impression that non-contact injuries like ACLs are going to happen when the ligament is weak. Maybe it would have been a few weeks or even months from now if the preseason game hadn’t happened, but it’s not a freak occurrence. It would make more sense to rail against the concept of the…
Yeah, I have no trouble believing that NFL owners would collude against players. We know they’re doing it right now against players who protested during the anthem. However, the idea that they’re colluding against an entire position group seems odd because I don’t know why they would do that.
Less than 60 seconds in to listening to Kristin and her vapid friends/colleagues/whatever they are, and I finally understood why Jay Cutler would rather get his brains beaten in on the football field than sit at home with her.
I have no opinion on this as I know as much about gym etiquette as I do about the social interactions of chimpanzees, but everything about this story reaffirms my decision to stay far, far away from the gym.
He is absolutely without a doubt the best Bears QB ever, but that’s more of an indictment of the hapless Bears than it is an endorsement of Cutler.
A home run that barely clears the fence is way more exciting and fun because you don’t know whether or not it’s going to be a home run the second it comes off the bat. Plus the outfielder has an outside chance of adding value and making a spectacular catch to rob the player of a home run.
There are multiple comments on this very article citing another source that the dead guy had punched someone else, so it’s in fact quite possible that the coach was defending someone else.
Logically, that’s the part of this discussion that makes no sense. If you believe that what he did means he should be locked up for the rest of his life, I disagree with you but I also understand your position. That’s not the opinion I’m hearing, though. There are a lot of people saying “he deserves a second chance at…
Meanwhile, there are still huge glitches and oversights in the actual gameplay that have been around for years.
Yeah, there’s a definite aesthetic argument to the idea that small ball, bunts, and steals make for a more exciting game than strikeout, strikeout, walk, home run, strikeout, strikeout...but from the perspective of GMs and managers who are trying to win as many games as possible, everything Werth is arguing about the…
