I know this is going to sound sacrilegious, but I found the buds that came with my shuffle perfect for running. I can hear the beat (who needs bass when all you need to hear is the snare?), I can hear the environment, they don't pop out, and I couldn't care less if they get jacked up.

My first homemade computer was my favorite. Pentium 200 oc'd to 283. Giant heatsink. If I remember correctly, this one had dual Voodoo2s in SLI (maybe it was the pentium II). I can't even remember how much ram... Maybe 256 mb? Holes in the side for fans. It was loud.

I'm curious how efficient this system will be at transferring electricity through 4 inches of concrete, let alone 8. I'm guessing a lot less efficient than wired. Then consider how much more energy we would need to produce in light of that inefficiency. Is it even worth it?

You know what's messed up about this? People that are trained to help those in need are using their skills for something that wasn't intended, and could cause serious injury or death. Wonderful.

I'm an asian (well, 75% asian, 25% caucasian), and I found it pretty amusing and clever. I laughed. If I were the recipient, yeah, not so much, but, well, I guess that's the racist cracker in me.

You'd better patent this before Apple gets its mitts all over it!

Yay! Works well. Thanks for the "KOOL SPAM BRO" ;)

I was about to say something similar... Can't be that busy if you're reading lifehacker.

I was born, raised, and currently reside in HI, and I can say that alcohol at the beach is not permitted. It's not that it isn't done, but it's not legal. I looked it up out of curiosity: http://www1.honolulu.gov/parks/rules/picnic.pdf

Geez. I thought I'd be able to tell the difference, but they all sound the same to me. I suck.

I run fast enough to not have this problem... NOT!

"Dishwashers weren't invented just to use up disproportionate amounts of the world's water supply."

Yay! I just purchase the Hero2 for my wife's b-day. I'm glad it's bestmodo, otherwise, I would've been sad.

And here's another one ripped off:

If the number is any hint, he's probably an elite runner, if not pro. But geez, one would imagine he would know what not to eat prior to a race. Damn!

Wow. Talk about high end. I usually get my wine out of a box. I guess drinking from a jug is easier than a spout.

I don't normally lurk at Gawker, but I had to check it out after your comment. I'm gonna agree, it sucks. Maybe they're looking to limit the number of commenters?
