I was wondering the same thing... I think he recorded the video on the iphone, added the audio narration on his iDevice, and then edited it on iMovie, on his iPad.

The problem is interference. It's not that wireless can't deliver the speed, it's how consistent it can deliver it. Unless your wireless router is in the same room, line of sight, I would say go wired.
