A hot dog is not a sandwich because words exist only to impart humans with meaning. If you water down the meaning enough to make hot dog a sandwich, the word because less valuable.

i meant pierre bernard’s recliner of rage

You have exactly 3 minutes to come up with four shows that no human being could ever reasonably want to watch. Bonus points if you can shoehorn an actress that is universally loved into the show and still no one would want to watch it. Ready, set, go...

I would guess it’s a picture from The Land pavilion in EPCOT.

I know you didn’t ask me but for me, any celebrity Scientologist is problematic. It is an awful cult and people suffer and are abused. If you believe many credible sources, people have died. Yet the celebrities are coddled and catered to, as long as they do not criticize the cult.

He is less entertaining when you are a cult member performing slave labor for him.

The more I read about D&D 5th. Ed., the more I'm convinced that 3.5 is the ultimate modern edition. It was way crunchier AND fluffier and had so much 3rd party support it was insane. Not to mention that it's still being supported through Pathfinder. My tablet is filled with 3.5/D20 books, and they literally number in

such an underrated bit

I’d watch.

So this series ISN’T a thorough and exhaustive re-telling of 300 years of Russian history?

I think he’s scum, and his scientology shenanigans are far worse than any dumb statement Henry Cavill ever made, and at least is on par with serious abusers like Depp et al. Vanity Fair wrote an article on his serious abuses of scientology members which is pretty much corroborated by Leah Remini, and yet its crickets

Unpopular opinion but here it goes:

I am disappointed in not only this site but most sites for the enablement of Tom Cruise. Henry Cavill was deservedly read the riot act for abysmally stupid comment, and yet Cruise consistently gets a pass for his terrible actions. He is complicit in Scientology’s abuse of families

I’m surprised to see all this fawning over Tom Cruise in here, as he’s the reason I won’t watch any Mission Impossible beyond the first. I think that is a great film inspite of Cruise, and not because of him. He’s mostly a very average actor who has a good eye for directors and gets a good to great cast.

oh wow you’re right, i would never have figured out the concept of a hunter of monsters if you hadn’t compared it to le witcherino tres, thanks for that

Season 1: There’s no costume!

Thank god only one company can make all the cape men fight each other, and all it cost us was having to helplessly watch the rich get still richer.

I would add

He gives all the money to his artists, because he’s aware that simply refusing to sell would deprive them of needed income and he’s not willing to make other people suffer financially for his moral stances. But he doesn’t profit by these, and if it was up to him they would never be made.

Research is tedious, innit?

Sometimes I feel truly blessed that I don't read comics. What I have learned from AV Club comments so far is that if I had read comics I would:
* Not enjoy Lucifer
* Not enjoy Preacher
* Detest the Watchmen movie because Rorschach is too cool / it lacks a giant squid.
* Be unsurprised by any villain reveal on Flash, Arrow
