They found a vehicle for Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman that I won’t watch - I wouldn’t have thought that was possible. God I hate reality TV. What a waste of talented people this is.

Someone get that woman a recliner of rage.
Hulu has a $12 per month plan with no commercials - I certainly never see one. I can appreciate completely the “paying enough to stream things” sentiment, it’s actually why I cancelled Netflix. It only makes sense to keep the stuff you’re actually watching, whatever that may be for you.
Err, yes, where else would you get it?
Yes, there’s a watchlist function. All streaming services have watchlist functions.
As to movies: not much. It’s great for TV, but not for movies. Unfotunately, I’m not aware of any streaming service that’s any good for movies these days.
None? You realize that for less than the monthly price of Netflix you can get a commercial free Hulu plan, right?
Meh, I’m planning to resub for a month or two come September, I’ll catch it then.
Crap, didn’t realize the others had disappeared. That sucks.
Just for the record, Hulu’s had season 2 since the moment it aired, and will get season 3 in real time.
If only horrible people remain on Twitter, then Twitter will only be able to harm horrible people. I’m kind of fine with that - burn it down.
Agreed on all counts. Also, that love story is *CREEPY* considering their relative ages at the beginning of it.
$12 is obviously too high if there’s nothing on it I want to watch, yes.
Yeah, it’s really not their fault. Sadly, that doesn’t change the fact that they’re no longer (for me) worth the cost of maintaining a sub. That they’ve been raising prices while hemorrhaging content doesn’t really help their case, either.
This is essentially why I cancelled my Netflix subscription. Some of the original content is good, but not nearly enough of it to justify the monthly fee. I’ve got Hulu for every day watching, and in the future will sub Netflix perhaps one month out of the year to watch the few shows I care about (Bojack, Stranger…
I’m sure it’ll make a ton of money and be wildly popular, just like the first one. I’m also sure I’ll watch part of it on TV some day before drifting away because it’s dull as dirt and everything looks like plastic, just like the first one.
Fair enough, though I’d suggest that just means box office returns from different eras can’t be meaningfully compared at all.
Box office numbers can’t be compared meaningfully without accounting for inflation.
You forgot the part where because you don’t like it, no one really does, and they must just be pretending to like it to look cool.
Honestly, I adore Radiohead but I’m constantly amazed that they’re as popular as they are. It’s not like they’re making any effort to be accessible, after all, so the hater swarm really is to be expected. It’s their loss, of course.
That’s my plan too. I enjoy some of the original programming but there’s not nearly enough good stuff there to justify the monthly price. I’ll doubtless resubscribe briefly for the new season of Bojack, but most of the time I’m fine without.
