I've talked AAA tow-truck drivers out on to the track without a bribe. It could be done. I know that post sounds completely insensitive, but the fact of the matter is that this accident was driver error and some asshole has got to scrutinize it down to that point.

The best part of Jalopnik - people helping people. Thanks for listening.

For whatever reason, the cars of Uruguay have been very interesting lately around the Jalopnik offices, and for good reason.

The driving is worse than the crash. Lazy on the penultimate corner, lazy entering the last corner... It's a high powered car on a hill climb... you need to respect both elements. I hope the driver learned something beyond "full-coverage is awesome."

rift only displays pre modeled data. It cant quite do the mapping for you, let alone in real-time. But man do I want this for War Thunder... the videos are sick. I suppose if you hooked it up to cameras you could get somewhere near this

Have you heard of it being called anything else?

Standard combat aircraft formation - named so for the similarity in appearance to your finger tips when you hold them straight out. Flight lead is your middle finger, his winger is your pointer finger. Element lead is your ring finger with his winger as your pinkie. Just google finger four and it'll pop up in images.

Haha, yeah. Sim with a joystick is a lot of fun - but that half hour time commitment per battle makes alcohol not taste as good... so does when my wing rips off in a dive. When you feel like being patient you can get really in to a match. The game is exponentially more fun with more people because finger four.

"Bronies" ... did not know this was a thing, let alone that there was a documentary filmed about it... which I'll be skipping. I will say that when War Thunder ran this April Fool's stunt and had us all shooting rainbow lasers that caused things to explode - it was amazing.

Mulally's Ford or Kia in terms of aesthetics - for sure. Ford interiors looked like the were from Fischer-Price in the mid 90's - early 2000's. (to be fair - so did a lot of other brands as well.) You can't say that Fuji Heavy Industries didn't make a great aesthetic advance in this time period, but the brand didn't

Between the two, this one felt more intuitive to me for some reason... on PC with mouse-aim anyway. And ooooooooh when you get a rare night-fight with searchlights from bases, ships, etc... it's a lot of fun. It's not a sim, I usually fly in arcade mode.

I prefer the term "Sasquatch" and please don't forget about My Little Pony

War Thunder!!! You can't shoot down Flankers, but you can shoot down one of the other F-planes.

Now playing

McLaren would had to have shown Ham the equivalent of a real-life flux-capacitor to get him out of that Benz, believe me. Here is some factual McLaren/Honda nostalgia for the hopeful that get burned by this story:

I miss the Hamburger button... and I liked the simplicity, but apparently I'm 1 of 3 - so let's progress.

I see they hired a new bouncer at club championship.

Good Job, Torchinsky. You can look at this photo ten times and still not understand what the fuck you are talking about until you actually click the link.

The approach and departure seem twice as scary as the runway, itself. Talk about low tolerance for mistakes...
