This is the problem....MFG wants no part of discounting or rebating EV’s because they have much higher costs and don’t have the room to to work in a rebate. The mad rush to EV has caused developmental costs to go insane...Dealers are locked into commission structures with many EV’s and also have no room to move. Mazda…

Most brands allocate cars...the dealer doesn’t get to pick colors or options with many carmakers....They get what it sent to them.  

The ford dealers in the Northeast have plenty of them ready for immediate delivery...

Dealers have a keen awareness of ‘ market days supply’ If something gets to north of 75 days the dealers will turn the cars down from the MFG...A few EV’s are moving but most are the slowest turners on the lot.  

Hyundai has a 170 day supply of EV’s sitting at the port in the Northeast
