Perhaps not a popular take, but I have to disagree.

Talking with a friend this morning and she feels depressed over what society did in the past year and a half dealing with the pandemic, with her losing faith in presumably government leaders and media, but she didn’t want to talk about it so I didn’t. I don’t exactly know if she thinks the casualty numbers are…

They created this monster--the monster of Faux-Rage Mob Idiots. We’re all trapped in a hideous nightmare version of Little Shop of Horrors, where Audrey II has the country wrapped in its tentacles and there’s no good songs.

Obviously, why else would they insist on bringing weapons into the capitol building if not to defend their fellow congresspersons? And I’m sure one of them would helpfully tweet out Nancy Pelosi’s location so she, uh, didn’t get lost.

They have no plans, no policies, no ideologies. They need the fauxrage to forget they are all about nothing. 

Man, those Republicans are really upset. What would they do if an insurrectionist mob stormed the Capitol Building? No doubt Boebert and Greene would take up their weapons to defend the institution and democracy. McCarthy would like to help but he can’t figure out how to leave the stall in the men’s room.
