I think it’s a particularly fatal flaw in Cruz. He is so used to people pointing out his hypocrisy and then laughing condescendingly in their faces that he is inured to people being pissed off at him. There is not much self-awareness in people who treats the rest of the world with contempt.  

A run for Senate would also require her to be relatable to people below her ‘station’, the ability to respond to questions she hadn’t rigorously prepared for, and, you know, hard work.

This is true. And Mexican cats use their babies as ‘anchor kittens’ to avoid being kicked out.

And Drew Magary would say that Cruz went on vacation while his state was in a crisis because “he lacked grit.”

He could go to Cancun and tell his constituents that the purpose of his visit was to kill 1000 kittens and they wouldn’t bat an eye.

When you’ve got 1 in 5 kids living in poverty, you probably shouldn’t be mandating that more kids should be brought into the world. Especially since this law will effect the poorest segment of your population, the ones that cannot afford to get the procedure done out of state.

This Trump cult is strange in that they believe that Trump is somehow fighting for their “Freedoms”, and yet led them into behavior that will result in the loss of those freedoms.
