But for every typewriter job, there are now more PC repairs and “IT” specialists... old technology dies. New technology takes over.

Take the Drivetrain and the vin tag and move it to a jeep without all the rust on it....

Typical Dodge Monaco customer of 1970 = Upper Middle Class White Male?

Something you fail to mention is the antenna is only as good as the ground plane it reflects against. Due to the odd angles and shapes of surfaces on the car, the best placement of the antenna would be in a low noise (electronic noise), large flat piece of grounded metal which the monopole 1/4 wave antenna would poke

In the Atlanta area, particularly at the Panola Road QuickTrip, it is very common to see these asshats park at the pump, go in to the store, order lunch, then sit at the outdoor seating and eat. It has gotten so bad that the store has to have an attendant out at the pumps reminding people to move their cars...

You are all wrong. The one car to unify the country is the Dodge Grand Caravan.

They all suck with equal abandon... Toyota makes good cars in every segment (yes, including sports cars). Toyota does not make the best car in any segment. So, to pick the best car out of what is a selection of mediocre cars? Why bother.

For $195K I can buy a brand new Harris Tri-toon boat with trailer, a brand new Ford F-150 to tow the boat, and have enough left over to buy a new C-8 Corvette.

Just go by a Dodge Caravan GT and get it over with.... You have three kids and your ‘young and sexy’ days are over. It’s time to admit you are middle aged and well on your way to average family man. A middle aged guy with a sports coupe just makes you look desperate but with a minivan, you will be the king of the

Dumbest idea ever. Congratulations Sir!

If California can’t provide the cash out of it’s coffers for a rebate on EVs due to funding, then place a tax on sales of ICEs based on fuel economy to fund the EV rebate. This will have a double incentive to go electric or at least go as fuel efficient as practical.

All I can say is you had better be good with a MIG welder... Free? It’s going to cost you thousands.

Also, only the Sonett III was Italian design. The earlier Sonetts were designed in house and sales were dismal. They brought in the Italian designers to try to get sales moving. Over the entire production run only about 10k cars were made with about 8500 coming to the US. The early vintage SAABs have the same rust

Why aren’t we buying? Because I all ready have one. If you buy a Sonett, be prepared to buy several... you will need the parts. Here’s mine...

In 1989 after hurricane Hugo destroyed my 1966 Cutlass Convertible, I took the insurance money and decided to buy a brand new convertible. I was a poor enlisted man in Uncle Sam’s canoe club so it had to be affordable. The only affordable convertible I could find was the 1989 Jeep Wrangle base model with a 4 cyl, 5 sp

Do not confuse safe with affordable. You will not find a new design selling for anything close to the Dodge Journey (or Caravan). I can pick up a 2019 Caravan for $23K. Meanwhile, it’s newer designed and safer sibling that has the same mini-van functions, capabilities, and similar features, The Pacifica, is over $40K.
