This is a concept car. Concept cars are pretty much by definition design exercises. Engineering exercises wouldn’t have an interior anywhere near that nice.

There really is no point of stealing one of these. They aren’t worth much and are usually rather unreliable. Unless if you are on the team that designed and built the car there is no point in having one of these cars.

My mom has a 201 sport and it has the screen. I dont think it has any options other than the automatic transmission.

Thats not true at all. These cars run a lap of Road America in ~107s. The fastest WeatherTech sports car series which is the premier road racing championship in the US run the same lap in ~115s. These cars are not slow.

The stock rods and pistons can have problems with 400hp too.

The nose is definitely the week point. STR and Mercedes made way better looking noses.

The STR paint scheme is from Red Bull Simply Cola not Red Bull Zero. Its on the rear wing.

This is definitely the best integration of the fin into the paint scheme so far. It almost disappears when your looking at the car.

It was certainly a political issues internal to the company that from what I understand many people disagreed with. However, for whatever reason the people in charge at the time wanted to show off something that is clearly never going to happen. The FF vehicle did exist in close to final form at the time of CES last year. I know because I saw pictures of it from reliable sources(not the internet). My understanding is that the super car was a political issue not an issue with the real car being ready to show. It seems like a mistake to have shown it.

I wouldn’t want the first one anyway. I want the teething issues with ramping up production to be sorted out before I get one.

There goes your warranty if you hack into the self driving feature. I don’t know about you but I would not want to void the warranty on that car.

The performance is really what I’m looking for the self driving is really just interesting to me from an engineering perspective. 60K would really not be that bad though if it is fast, fun, and can drive itself.

Autopilot as a standard feature on such an affordable car is pretty incredible. I’m hoping that for the sake of us enthusiast that it drives as well as the model s when the human is in control. It’s a fantastic looking car and if it is fun to drive I would seriously consider purchasing one.

I saw the Lotus Indy cars race once. They were horribly slow but they looked cool. I wish they had stuck around it would be cool to have a third manufacturer in Indy Car.
