I love IPA’s, as long as they aren’t those gross kitchen sink ones that stop being “beer” at some point, or are hopped to the point of non-refreshing, and I love Porters, Stouts and richer dark beer. It’s a seasonal thing with me. I tend to transition into the darker beers come fall and back into IPA’s…

Newcastle is gross as are most Brown ales. Right up there with Yuengling in terms of so sweet they make you thirsty for tap water.

I’ve got a friend like this. He was a die hard Coors light drinker until I got him into micros and Belgium’s about 20 years ago. That Coors light pallet never left him though as he hates IPA’s and hoppy beer and will only drink Stouts, Porters and things like Blue Moon...non-hoppy character beer. Ever a more laid back…

Yup. Amazing what people demand for their money. Practical, reliable, stylistically fancy and cutting edge design all for what is a relatively good price comparably speaking. No..such..thing.

When it still works in 20 years people appreciate the “grade” of it at any price point. The German and especially British counterparts can’t say that with their fancy, more expensive, easily and often broken interfaces.   

Not only that, but he has to know that the MDX is designed with families in mind, and the ease of use of uncomplicated interfaces when you are driving distracting kids around is a plus. When you want to turn something on or off while Kevin is screaming about Zoe drinking out of his cup you don’t need to combine that…
