The VW MicroNixon
I thought that first one was a Lexus design study.
By the way this was shot in Cannes, in front of the Carlton hotel. Same place where the video of Huyara jump-start was shot. (And same uploader too).
It only became "tradition" when the USA got involved in their politics in the first place. This shit is OUR FAULT. We helped put extremist wing-nuts into power in the Middle East because they were friendly towards our political aspirations at the time. When you give that kind of delicate political ecosystem such a…
You don't think there is celebratory gunfire in the USA?
There's a couple of plausible explanations if this really did happen.
This is almost certainly from TX2K14 or whatever. That huge Supra meet where all the Lambos and GTRs show up. There's countless videos of them out racing on youtube if you search for it. Some ridiculously fast cars show up for it.
140 is impressive but.... growing up driving Beltway 8, and now living in another city, I can't understand all these people going the speed limit or below.
This would have been during Tx2k14 held in early March. The video is from 1320 Video who compiles tales from this and other events each year. My understanding is that there's so much activity going on during this event that police will turn their head the other way for people that aren't out plowing through traffic…
These unsanctioned late night street races are totally common during the Texas Mile events. It's the unofficial event during the official event…the time when guys with their 1000hp+ toys go out and race for internet bragging rights. I hate to say it, but it's only a matter of time before someone gets killed.
We saw a police officer pulling over a guy in a Mustang. They guy in the Mustang was speeding, but not causing any major problems (at the time). The LEO talked to the guy, and explain why he was pulled over.
As much as I hate street racing, I'll gladly take cops that are a little too lenient over some place like VA.
I'm not in favor of street racing, but I am very in favor of cops handling a situation calmly so I am pleased with the outcome. If he catches them again, he should explain that they were warned and that's why they are being taken in for reckless driving. Fuck most police caught on video, but not this one.
"Hey man, not everyone can afford to go to a track day!"
