The problem with high performance exotics is that they're great for short, inconsistent bursts of speed, and not consistent ones.

That's actually a first-gen Murcielago, so it's at least 7 years old right now. I think first-gens cost around 200k-ish, same price as a barely used Gallardo.

High performance mid-engine cars are prone to overheating if they're driven hard for more than 10-15 minutes and can even catch fire in some instances. Rent an exotic for a few laps at a track day event and you'll notice that the car always needs a long, long cool down time.
