Perfect way to get your bags stolen!

The only time wood and Italian cars can come together. While in the water. The moment you hit dry land they spontaneously combust.

IMHO This looks rather nice

:/

I think the difference is that those transmissions have torque converters (often giving a slushy feel) and generally slower shift times, while the SMG has a clutch (hydraulically actuated) and nearly instant shift times.

If I remember correctly there was an option somewhere in the idrive to select if you wanted it to shift for you, if you wanted full control to shift your self or a "smart" hybrid

E30 with a v12 and twin turbos

No two cylinders do fire at the exact same time but they are paired so as (1) is in it's compression stage the (6) is in it's exhaust. Then when (1) is in combustion, (6) is in intake. Same goes for the (2) and (5) pair and the (3), (4) pair. Also since there are three pairs there is also always overlap in combustion

Looks like it's on an engine stand so the motor probably just got pushed around ever so slightly as the crank was being turned

Can you help me get this nut off? ...we might need some penetrating lubricant

I need a new slave for the SM

Bumper height AND headlight height. Can't tell you how much I hate getting blinded by a truck behind me.

Some parts are reasonable some parts are much less reasonable. Depends what you need fixed/replaced. A friend with an 928 needed a spare key and it was several hundred to get one from Porsche as it is a proprietary technology. So really it depends. Same with the M series BMW's. Lots of parts are the same and there for

For consideration. If this is a daily driver the M3 and probably Porsche should be eliminated. New England is hell on old cars and e30's love to rust. When I got my e30 there was very little rust on it. The guy I purchased it from suggested I take it off the road in the winter and I decided it would be a year round

That is probably the most terrifying video I have ever seen.

was there an accident or is it just the lighting?

A friend has one of these. From what he tells me: Need a new key? There are only three machines in the US that can cut one and you may need to send your current key to germany for verifications at a rate of around $600. He had to go through a guy in Australia for one and it was still like $100 just to get a spare made.
