Hey that’s a pretty neat little...

You are critiquing a minivan based on its external lines??? I get that you are a car guy and evaluating it as such, but 99.999% of the people in market for a minivan don’t care about that.

“When options come into play, the Odyssey balloons to a ridiculous $56,459.”

My grandmother was her commanding officer in WW2 - she used to tell stories about how the Queen really got involved and it was a genuine commission, not for publicity, etc.

In context though, that’s got to at least be on the level of ‘cool JDM car’ in the UK.

Yeah she is pretty cool. My grandma was a dental assistant during the war so we just got checkups... She does with other people with her and probably in another vehicle nearby. They take a Range Rover as well.

I highly respect the Queen for the fact that she was a mechanic/driver during WW2 and that she still drives herself around in the Defender, Jag wagon, or Range Rover.

I made it 20 seconds in before the shakycam and overediting convinced me this wasn’t worth my time. This Alfa never did anything to deserve this.

I am too old. Until recently I’d never heard of Hoonigans, caught a few minutes of one of their videos here, and now I despise everything related to them.

I mean, it’s “Tieni la mia birra”, but cmon. Italy. It should be “Tieni la mia vino”.

Tieni la mia Grappa

“Rare” does not always translate to “valuable” or “desirable”.

Yeah, the US is less than 10% of Mitsubishi’s global volume. Still, they’re a fairly small company by the standards of the modern industry (until you factor in that they’re now part of the Renault-Nissan Co-Prosperiety Sphere).

Mitsubishi has been on a steady upswing for awhile now. They’re nowhere near where they were at their peak in this country, and might never get back to that, but their sales have been consistently improving.

As much as Mitsubishi’s offerings are questionable, I don’t think it’s out of the game yet. They’ve worked in some innovation offering the PHEV, which will pay off when gas prices go up. They have focused almost exclusively on CUVs. They offer a strong value proposition in an under served segment.

The Outlander PHEV is on my short list to check out this spring. They have been selling like hotcakes in Europe for years.

Hmm... I can’t decide if I really like it or I really dislike it lol.

Did Australia have its own Malaise-era like the U.S did? After looking up the car (not from Australia, sorry!) I can’t imagine something like that ever hitting 250 grand... ever.

The big difference between the Outlander and the Journey: reliability. The Outlander is a vehicle with above-average reliability. The Journey is among the worst cars for reliability you can get.

The Outlander I’m eagerly waiting for is the PHEV version. It’s supposed to come out this Summer to the US. It’s basically like a first-gen Volt with 4x4. It’s UK’s #1 selling PHEV and is critically acclaimed in Japan and Scandinavia where it’s been on sale for years.
