Considering that I live in New Zealand where you can barely get a later CL/CG Valiant for that kind of money plus it’s a coupe, for around NZ $11,000?! As a bit of a fan of the A body Mopars, Sign me up!

Well it’s a Hummer in the fact that it looks like a full size version of a toy truck that a kid plays with in the sandpit.
Yeah, the more you pay the more you are likely to be disappointed because the car doesn’t live up to your expectations.
exactly because that money could be useful for something else.
They don’t look any better with a regular 3 series front either. basically a more modern European AMC Gremlin if you think about it.
Yet in Europe Mercedes vans aren’t considered a luxury.
You could argue that the NSX does give similar hybrid tech of a much more expensive euro hyper car for much less money.
You could argue the problem was there for 90's Japanese sports cars too. They were probably similar in price to European rivals yet they didn’t have the image. Then again the Japanese sports cars would have had better performance for the money.
Helps with parts support. probably costs hundreds and thousands of dollars just to develop new switches in some cases.
“Don’t fucking use the name Torana or Monaro on a crossover ya cunt!”- Some Australian Bogan probably.
What was great for the late 90's early 2000's isn’t for the 2020's.
If an old car (anything less than 40 years old) is similar or more expensive than a new equivalent, You may as well buy the new one as 99.9% of the time it’s a better all round experience.
Nah, buy a new Japanese performance car, own it for a few years and then sell it, help these Car companies out by showing that there is a demand for modern Japanese performance cars, More bought new means more in the used market (and better parts support). What killed those cars in the late 90's was a lack of demand.
I live in New Zealand where they seem to be sort of popular, seem to see a few.
If you look at pictures of the 240Z it seemed like they had pretty large grilles in relation to the front end but there is a bumper splitting it in half.
Is he hated around here?
Duuuuuuuude, does that Wagoneer have one of these in the boot (trunk in not so freedom language) or something?
Mind you can’t most CVT’s go in the same speed in reverse as it can in forwards?
I find the lack of Galant GTO kind of sad.
Yeah what Misubishi needs is a competitor to the GT86. Inline 4 turbo (most things are these days) and some muscular styling. Call it idk, the Galant GT in the US market plus Europe and call it the Galant GTO in Europe. Give us a Hybrid version too. obviously share the platform with Nissan.
