Didn’t everyone complain when the first to be sold in RHD (yes) Mustang was released with IRS? 

If I had that kind of money in the US I would go and look for a Conversion van, I know I won’t be able to park quite a few miles from Schools but still. 

You are paying for the image of “I wanted a Kombi but my hipster job couldn’t afford it”. 

No mods, but for how long... You know for a fact someone is gonna convert this into a campervan, I know I would if I had the skills and the means to.

Yeah being able to mod your brand new car without voiding the warranty.

How much were these Preludes new? at least at 6,000 USD anything you do to it won’t cost more than you paid for the car. 

They could start selling aftermarket parts at dealerships in the future.

Since I Own a BMW now. and obviously Jezza (Jeremy) is a mechanically minded chap, I would kind of recommend a E46 3 series and save the money for Home renovations (or Garage whatever you please), maybe even the later model E90.   

So, Just get the Auto. 

When you buy a car without carpet so you go and buy house carpet from a Carpet firm. 

At least a lot of modern autos (even the CVT in my parents 2011 Outlander) have manual modes. The gearbox in my 2002 BMW 318ci, for example has that. 

Don’t forget Modern Autos aren’t as bad as they used to be. also at least with automatics, you don’t have to worry about burnt clutches due to rough drivers.

Still safer than what my dad had as his first car. Something along the lines of this.

But you wouldn’t do as well in a crash. plus the Camaro has far better creature comforts.
