yes, safety improvements have added a lot of weight. as far as refinement goes, it IS a lariat....even for '89 it is pretty fancy. the only option it doesn't have is leather seats. and it's very quiet so I imagine there's a fair amount of dampening in there already

My '89 F 150 XLT Lariat reg. cab long bed 4x4- 4,065lbs with a quarter tank of gas

or a fwd GM product....they always seemed to be the worst. but all manufacturers had problems with the chrome caps on the lug nuts

Let me just say in the nicest possible way that since you get to work on the cool stuff, you suck! here i am stuck working on Cat 3516s and such :D

lemme guess..... it'll be painted plaid :D

sounds like you'd need something like a deutz diesel only a lot lighter.

I cou;ld see a strong case for this type of diesel in remote areas.

interesting... I did not know they had lightweight diesels with that kind of power output.

that still doesn't explain how to get around the power to weight ratio problem.

that could be also, but I'm willing to bet it's more power to weight ratio than anything. although with a diesel, you probably wouldn't need a PSRU or any type of reduction setup so that would save you some weight

I don't care I'd still take it. My first car was a '68 XR-7 with a black leather interior

wrong. pistol grip shifter, even though it's a torqueflite

Is jalopnik getting promotional consideration from FCA????? Enough already, we got the picture with the first 1,000 articles about the hellcat

there was an article on here the other day stating that a small plane had a diesel option.

sorry 'bout that. my wireless mouse decided to act stupid.

End of an era. even today it's sad to see it,especially since wwe

sounds legit

must have been on hold with tech support and got a little frustrated :D

Easy enough. just stay off the Foxtrot Alpha sub blog and you won't have to look at the "temple of the bomb"

u mad bro?
