Have you driven both? The 7MGTE was underwhelming to me. Absolutely nothing special. Maybe it wakes up with some modifications but I’d rather pull the pin on the twirling Doritos of death in an FC RX7 than futz with the Supra. Hell an E30 would be a better car from that era, especially if motor swapped. Just so many

Gen 4s ugly? Now that’s just crazy talk.

You’re just being seduced by the ‘Supra’ name plate IMO, the 3rd gens are decent drivers but nothing collectible or noteworthy other than a stepping stone in GT car development. I had an ‘86 NA for years, it was a good car but it doesn’t stand out to me. I’m in complete agreement with the posters above, it’s worth a

OMG, she’s heard this so many times it doesn’t work anymore.

California isn’t remotely unified on this front. CARB is out of control but the answer isn’t granting more power to the freakin’ feds. California has a proposal on this years’ ballot to split the state up. It won’t be passed, but there’s growing desire everywhere BUT LA,SF and Sacramento to break up the state into

I’m certainly glad I don’t have to justify to other people what I choose to drive. Who wants that shit?

Still more trouble than turning your neck, that works every time.

That is a distinction without a difference, both are turbo lag in my book but one is fixed by downshifting and the other just makes the car a turd in the upper rpms. I hate -HATE I SAY- engines choked by puny turbos just because some focus group of 50yo women want torque to peak at 2000. I miss 80s-90s 8:1 turbos that

C’mon, the Volvo V70R with Atacama leather is gorgeous

It’s all in the execution - some red interiors are the woman in the red dress from The Matrix; fetching and just right. Others, like Ford’s red velour from the 80s, are a Wal-Mart patron in a tube top with a stretchmarked tramp stamp and a cigarette ash dangling from her whiskered lip.

Indeed, flying slower than it was designed for AND taking on 80,000 pounds (!) of JP-7 made refueling difficult. Pilot Brian Shul described having to put *one* engine in afterburner near the end of the refueling cycle to have enough thrust to maintain altitude and airspeed, but then having to fight the resulting yaw.

I’ll take sealed beam clarity over hazy, fogged nasty plastic lenses any day.

Not enough stars. HD was dead to me after they hung Erik Buell out to dry. They consciously limited their customer base to overweight, vest wearing, wraparound sunglasses bearded dudes over the age of 40. Mark my words, the next economic contraction that results in retiree fire-sales to prop up their 401k will be HDs

You know there are real reasons to dislike them too right?

“there is no true “individuality” as each of your actions have an impact on others.”

Not just the ceding of authority to the executive branch but the unbelievable cowardice by Congress to legislate through unelected agencies with no oversight.

It uses Fair Trade bauxite ore! Don’t you care about the poor bauxite farmers? Check your privilege sir!

It’s nowhere near the level of the Hemi valve seat issues. Considering how many recalls are done by OEMs at this point, I’d expect any issues to get resolved pretty quickly.

Because you feel the ‘Porsche tax’ is not paying your fair share. Because the you feel replacing timing chain guides is part of the driving experience.

Oh Pshaw!
