I’m superconfused as to why the author seems to hate something she probably doesn’t use and won’t ever use.

Came here to make sure Piper Laurie’s version of Margaret White was properly represented and was not disappointed.  Her scenes in that movie creep me out to this day.

I agree with your take on Solo, but at this point, because the press during production was so bad (firing Lord and Miller) and the release date and marketing were so abysmally planned, that it is taken on faith that Solo was a bad movie, despite the fact that it actually turned out to be pretty good IMO.

The brief scenes in the mall immediately took me back. Teenaged me spent way too much time in malls (shoutout Granite Run Mall).

EK Johnston did a good job with the “Ahsoka” novel, so I’m guessing this will be good, as well. I might hit up the audio version of this book.

Charcoal grilled steaks ftw!  Love the Pub!

Nobody wants to go to King of Prussia tbqh

The difference between Machado and Harper is one of them said, out loud in his own words, that reporters transcribed, that he won’t hustle and the other one was admonished by lesser talented, butt hurt teammates he was about to abandon.

I just don’t see how the Whisperers stand a chance in a conflict against any one of the established camps, now that the camps know about these people.

The Stillers are the most insufferable franchise in a league that includes the “DO YOUR JOB” New England Fucking Patriots.

Because nothing good, in the way of sports writing, is free anymore?

I’ll give this show a shot, but I’m kind of with you on this. I am much more engaged with Star Wars when there are force wielders.

If there is a more terrible state in the country than Alabama, I’m listening.

Leave it to this MAGA chode to make me sympathize with baseball owners.

Maybe you want hot chunks of oddly firm tomato floating in your stews and sauces, but I do not.

Episode IX: What will our Piss Baby fan base whine about this time?

I thought it was a really well done ad for the Washington Post. Businesses buy ad space all the time and I doubt anyone seriously believes a commercial is going to “fix” journalism.

Cool.

That’s kind of a naive view of how the world works.

I’m guessing you aren’t from NJ.  Whining about a NJ’s politicians ties to Big Pharma is like whining about the grass being green.
