Hopefully this thing is checked out to hold the wheel in an FSD Tesla, cause that shit gets old

Such a shame, regardless of the cause. RIP.

That railroad crossing at, I want to say, San Jose was a little much.

I think karting would be the way to go. Also, it would be amazing if the prestige of the Olympics forced big racing stars to do a little kart racing to qualify and get in. Would love to see Alonso vs Lewis in karts going for a gold medal — especially fighting with some 15 year old from who knows where!

Silly computer, you’re supposed to speed up for yellow lights.

You’re kind of underselling what a fuck up this almost was.  The stock was trading around $22.  Had the deal not been approved, the SPAC would have simply returned the $10 they originally received for each share to the shareholders -- so the holders would have lost over half of the value.

If you bought a fucking Prius for its engine, you’re an idiot.  You’re lucky they didn’t steal your kidney.

This is why you buy the highest spec available.  Just try to do this in an Si.

Richard Petty racing the wheels off a beetle would be pretty great, though.

A lot of the frustration with the E39 came from the aggressive traction control.  I feel if that didn’t step in so often the power would have seemed a lot more seamless. That’s a car that would definitely benefit from an upgrade in that department.

300 HP Camrys seemed like a sign of the end times.

I don’t know if Jackson is racist, but there’s no doubt Pippen was one of the most underpaid players of his generation.  I can’t blame him for wanting to burn it all down.

Come on, this thing is probably pretty great. If we required everything to be strictly necessary we’d all be driving Priuses.

I mean, they’ve done the not. Porsche’s move is pushing the rules to the extreme.  This often results in the destruction of the competition they were participating in -- CanAm, Group C, GT1, LMP1, LMEpro/GTLM, arguably others.  I’m a huge Porsche fanboi, but it’s kind of their thing.

If we’re talking motorsport, it’s already a pretty long list. If we’re talking Nurburgring production car manufacturer records, yes, sadly, probably a matter of time -- but it’s a pretty small fraction of the people yeeting themselves around the Nurburgring in anger.

Congrats on your anniversary! This has been a great story to follow.

That’s got to be 50 lbs worth of pliers.

Glad at least one journalist is still asking the tough questions.

LOL, guess he’s Danish -- just like Bottas ;-)

Definitely. But I’m not saying I’m glad he’s in an Indy Car vs an F1 car. I think he and Grosjean both got a bad deal from Haas and deserve to be in F1. I was just glad to see him get (what to me is) a promotion from IMSA to Indy.  He’s been driving well in IMSA and his enthusiasm has been great.
