People forget what a great hunting vehicle the Lincoln Continental was.

It was a kinder, gentler time.
Autopilot can’t detect stopped vehicles. It spells this out clearly in the owner’s manual.
Having just seen the crash test, he should have had a Model 3. Not really the same demographic, but supposedly quite resistant to poles ;-)
The impala has to be pretty stoked to be up there with the Big Boys. “Featured in the same top 10 list as Mercedes E and S Class as well as the BMW 5, 6 and 7 Series.” I’d run with it.
I do, too. I hope the seats, etc. are a little more comfortable and less utilitarian than the overall style. Just looking at it, I kind of picture it with the bench out of 70's Ford pickup -- which was nice and springy, but a little dated at this point.
Least British, in any event.
Clearly, if you like the feel of the older 3s, the new one is not going to do it for you. Going fast without feeling the speed is kind of the opposite of what an enthusiast wants. Also, he’s actively comparing aspects of the 3 series to the 5 series — which is the kind of “shit” the journalists have been saying.
These are great pics -- thanks! That was a fun weekend -- and an incredible amount of driver talent to have show up in Texas!
I guess it depends on what level you want to run. These cars are ridiculously expensive. Spending some time watching the mechanics in the paddock this weekend, I can attest you don’t want to have to pay to replace almost any of these parts. Mostly stock STIs and RSs, though, with a cage, harness and seats is a fun…
It takes some motivation to spin a Camry.
It’s Dakar or nothing if you want to go toe to toe with the 959.
And decklid exhausts, hopefully.
No kidding -- so much love for this beauty!
It is a little weird. Here the coverage seems to be that it sucked because it was boring and the cops were a hassle, not that it sucked because it was a sociopathic exercise in risking innocent people’s lives for one’s own enjoyment (or not even that in this case). I personally tend to think that the normal street…
Those are some huge brake discs. It must be a whale of a car to require that kind of rotor. The Tesla Model X is not a good stopper when you need to use the real brakes -- could probably use something more like these.
Before I can even remember, my parents found Hot Wheels on some crazy sale and bought a huge box of them. They’d dole them out to me as bribery for whatever little thing they were trying to get me to do. They had a supply that lasted for years. I loved those cars and played with them for years and years. Still…
This is just such a great looking car. Love the shape and the paint job! Well done, Team Vesco.
OK, I know you’re trolling, but I’ll agree with this one. I don’t actually mind the scheme, but it needs to be limited to just one team. The semi-matching Toyota, Porsche and Audi cars in P1 was a huge pain. Also, I was very happy with Porsche’s retro liveried 911's this year.
I know this feeling. My two dogs escaped and ate an incredible amount of catshit from my neighbor’s yard, right before our three hour road trip. They kept a stiff upper lip for the first 2 hours or so. Then, hilarity ensued. Both dogs looked green, for reasons that were not yet clear to me. One finally let go and…
